Hello All,

Pretty much all of my leagues draft well before August gets here. So I decided to set up a league where the draft doesn't happen until late August and All FA's and Rookies are included. We'll hold one 16 round draft then head into the NFL regular season.

Here are the particulars about the league.

12 teams
16 player rosters
League Fee $50 (All Leagues Fees Paid in are Paid Out as Winnings)
Starting Lineups - 1 QB, 1-2 RB's, 2-3 WR's, 1 TE, 1 K and 1 Def
Regular Season runs through week 13 and the Playoffs run from week 14 thru 16.
Waivers run twice a week. Tuesday 6 am thru Thurs 6 pm and Thurs 7 pm thru Sunday 11 am.
Ties are broken through the use of 2 decimal points and each team will pick a non-starter.
Top 6 teams will make the Regular Playoffs.
Bottom 6 teams will make the Toilet Bowl Playoffs
This League features my unique Starting Player Challenge where the winner will win $50.

If you look at the Reports Menu, click on the Bylaws Reports then go down to the Additional Rules section, you'll see all of the rules for this league. I've pretty much outlined everything above, but there may be some other things you might want to look at.

This is a no frills league that I believe will give everyone a lot fun during the season. Just a simple league where the owners don't have to try to keep track of a players salary or figure out some confusing keeper rules etc. Just do the draft, do some waivers, set your lineups and try to become the League Champion.

Only 2 spots left in this great league! I know a lot of owners on this site like IDP leagues, but why not do a little Re-draft league in late August just for the fun of it. You never know, you might just win yourself some extra cash. Provided you can beat me. LOL

If my plate wasn't already full, I'd join this league for sure. I think you'll have a tough time finding guys on this site to join a league that drafts in late August though. Most of these guys like drafting their teams in April, May and June.

LOL That's exactly why or maybe how this league came about. A friend of mine and I were talking about all the drafts we had going on right now and he said he wished he had a league that drafts in late August. After talking about it for a little while, we decided to do it. So I set up this league and will run it.

As of right now, I have one spot left. I've got one person I've offered the spot to and I'm waiting to hear from him and another person looking it over just in case the other guy doesn't take it. Surprisingly, it actually filled up pretty quickly.
