Everyone knows by now that you can't put anything thats considered gambling or "illegal" thru paypal and fantasy football dues are one of those things frowned upon. And its an AMERICAN LIFE style now so....

The new way around this is to assign a catalog/reference number for each league this way there is no mention of fantasy football or related gambling terms.

Ur catalog or reference number can be ur draft date 20080808-01, 20080808-02, and this number would tell you which league, what day, and you can also assign each Owner with a personal pin number as well looking like this 20080808-01-06 makes the books a lil easier to deal with.

When an owner sends fees this reference number is all that is in the description bar. Tiarzvei.gif

Not my idea sad.gif

But the guy who shared it with me has used it for a while without an issue.

He uses reference numbers for everything he sells online from Fantasy sports to collectibles

Last summer, paypal locked down my money and put my account on a limited basis because of this FF is gambling non-sense. Personally, I don't think it's the same as placing bets during a poker game or placing bets on a horse race etc, but they obviously feel it is.

After going back and forth with them, and talking to another person that had this happen to them, I worked out a solution with them. As long as I post the following Legal Disclaimer on my League Web Sites, they agreed to open back up my account and my money. Since then, I haven't had any problems. Although, I still ask people to not put anything in the subject line or message box. lol

Here's what I worked out for all my leagues. I just change the name of the league within the body of the message. Maybe you guys could try the same. wink.gif
