We have 3 openings 2 make 16 total but we could extend up to 20 or grab just 0ne more for 14 total either way its fitting to be a decent league that should provide us with some entertainment

lets stop at the 14 we have...
i have personally never played in a league with more than 12...

I capped it at 16 teams thats a nice deep league with large rosters 20 teams is a real pain in the azz trust me. but 14 teams is nearly identical to 12 and doesnt provide enuff of a challenge for a new dy"nasty" imo.

this is unchartered territory for me, but i wanted the dynasty challenge and this should provide that

this is my first dynasty, and also the first with more than 12 teams

The dynasty thing shouldnt scare you its actually a lil easier on you draft wise cause u can look ahead instead of the RIGHT NOW mentality, the 16 teams now that will make it interesting cause talent shouldnt be abundant on any team.


I have the 16th position accounted for but she hasnt yet been able to log in due to vacation soon as shes up we can roll for draft order. and if she's not in soon we will replace her

And yes we are full we have a few from some of the other leagues I run, a couple from the FF.com boards and yes we even have 3 females that have decided to take the dynasty challenge.

I am pretty jazzed to see how things pan out this year and for years to come.

Late can be good in a Dynasty draft you get a well rounded talent that way

Just a question. Might sound dumb. Never was in a Dynasty before, is there any keepers in these rules that roll over into next year?

Dynasty means that your entire team rolls over year to year and we just have a rookie/FA draft after the first year so its adds to the stategy of working the future

Ah. Alrighty. So we keep them unless we dumb/trade or they retire correct?

Well since its a dynasty, it might throw a wrench into the number 1 pick. Are you still going with LT2, or are you thinking of SJax who is 4 years younger?

I got #6. Thats a nice pick, imo.

Personally I would rather be 13-16 in this draft

U will see the teams that have picks 13-16 have a much better team on paper than the folks that pick early, The #1 guy may get LT2 but his next pick @ #32... It really comes down to preferencec but in Dynasty leagues mid to late picks usually are early success storys and top 3 drafters ether need some luck or they struggle for a year or two

yeah, 14 and 19 isn't too bad in a league this size

Anymore I do tier drafting so I really get to see in my eyes what draft positions are best and I think the deeper the league the later u want to draft. If it is a snake draft anyways.

I don't like having a pick too early, but anything towards the end is just as bad, imo. For a 16 teamer I like to pick between 5 and 10. That way you'll be able to get a stud and still be a situation to have a solid draft after the 1st round.

It was a pretty deep draft and I enjoyed it even though some of the defensive players that were taken I had no idea who they were, lol. But I got the one and only Carey Davis.

Yeah those peeps who didnt predraft deep enogh to catch IDP's got some real crap players.

Yes we are done but I am gonna give them a few days to fix rosters before I post and giggle.

We had some peeps who couldnt make the live draft who had to predraft a 25 man roster team so some teams have some players that are pretty unknown to fantasy. Unfortunately, one team owner was stuck in Illinois, 2 teams suffered deaths in the family, and a few others have yet to get back with me. BuT a 16 team league and I think we had better than half of us there 9 or more so not bad for live online i suppose.

No one team is overly dominate but my wifes team is probably headed to the championship game. Her first actual live draft and she did her homework only made a few late late round mistakes that will be easily fixable.

Yea, she has a great looking team for a dynasty league. A QB, RB and 3-4 WR's for years to come. Here's mine, figured I'd post it before he posted all 16 teams. Note - This is my first Dynasty League..it is also my first IDP league as well. It had some oddities in there like PPR and return yards with TD's for points so keep that in mind..

yeah, i ended up with 9 defensive players i have never heard of the one i have heard of sucks

my offense isn't too bad for not being at the draft, i was playing in a golf tourney and didn't set predrafts because i was thinking the draft started on Monday for some reason

I dont think yahoo knows defense cause #1 on defense list prior to the draft was Klecko

that explains A LOT.....

oh well, this is a dynasty so time to build up that DEF

I'm pretty happy with my team, but I forgot that we only start one RB so I'm pretty stacked there and might be able to use that as trade bait for a stud reciever or something.
