I get Tom Brady, Edgerrin James (OR) Corey Dillon, AND Doug Gabriel (OR Isaac Bruce) for Tiki Barber and Larry Fitzgerald.

I like McNair's matchups the rest of the way so I think I could be set at QB but Brady is usually solid. I like Corey Dillon over James but I really don't care for Gabriel or Bruce.

I value all of your opinions!

No, Tiki & Fitz are top at their positions.

You only need a QB.
Ask him what it would take for Brady only?

Also consider that Brady, Dillon & Gabriel are all on the same team.
Come playoffs, will Dillon still be playing (enough touches) or will the rookie be the starter?

No way would I do that deal. Which QBs are currently on your wire?

David Carr, Chad Pennington, Joey Harrington, J.P. Losman, Charlie Frye Bruce Gradkowski and Mark Brunell are all available on waivers.

As I said, I really like McNair and Baltimore's schedule down the stretch. And one of their tough games I can use Alex Smith at home against Green Bay.

I would stand pat and use the wire for QB matchups. From the sounds of the trade, it looks like you'd be trading Tiki/Fitz for Brady since you wouldn't be using the other players involved.. Decline the deal.

Actually that is not quite true, because since I would be trading my top RB in Tiki, the RB I get which would probably be James would be my starter with A Train.

I agree.

Plus, James is nothing more than a 2nd RB. This would weaken your team.

I would not do it either. Brady is the man but you need Tiki and Fitz more than you need Brady. Fitz is a top 5 WR when healthy and arguably the best young WR in the NFL. Tiki is leading the NFL in yards and TD's are bound to come, he is just too talented not to finish with at least 6-7 TD's. I dont know how you ended up with just Alex Smith and Steve Mcmair as your QB's but I understand your concern. I would see if you can deal someone else for a guy like Delhomme or Kitna. Look for a team in your league with 2 good QB's and try and deal Glenn and a RB or one of your QB's. I would eff hang onto Tiki and Fitz, it would be a shame to let Fitz go now, after you have hung with him through the imjuries and watch him explode the rest of the season. Hope that helps, there is no bigger Brady fan then me but you just cannot afford to lose Tiki and Fitz. Goodluck!

I really like your analysis as it is exactly how I feel, but it's nice to get some re-affirmation.

I ended up with McNair and Alex Smith because we started out with Culpepper and Big Ben and I gave up on Ben before Culpepper. We have a 12 man league which is tough so nobody else was really available unless you like Gradkowski, Frye or Losman.

I've used McNair this season a few times and he's been alright.... keep playing your matchups and you'll be alright man.
