Following is copy/paste of email sent to multiple Rattler's personell and local news agencies
Is there anything to be done to simplify, or expedite this unfortunate situation?
Early in December, I called the Rattlers to inquire about refunding 2009 season ticket, which were cancelled by the Arena Football League. I was told the refund procedures would be listed on the Rattler's website on 12/19/2008. On that date, the Rattler's website indicated a written refund request must be sent to address:
Arizona Rattlers
320 E McDowell Rd
Suite 221
Phoenix, AZ 85004
Attn: Ticket Refund
As this is not a PO Box, I send a written request via FEDEX (for tracking) on 12/31/2008, tracking may be veiwed at FEDEX # 791200001094. On 01/02/2009, FEDEX shows 'Future Delivery Requested'. On 01/05/2009, FEDEX shows 'Incorrect Address-Recipient Moved'. Upon contacting FEDEX, I was informed there is a sign on the address office door regarding forwarding mail. Fedex does not forward, therefore my request is quasted.
On 01/06/2009, I find the address on the website has been changed to:
Arizona Rattlers
PO Box 20398
Mesa, AZ 85277
Attn:Ticket Refund
Or fax to: 480-985-3293
I attempted to fax refund request to number listed. The attempt was unsuccessful. On a hunch, I called the number. A very polite lady answered. She stated the phones at the office were not working properly and the office needed to use the fax number line for voice calls and they would not be able to receive faxes for a few days.
I have now sent written letters to each address and will continue to attemp to fax daily until refund is confirmed.
I hope the Rattlers do not continue to wear on the goodwill of the fanbase they have spent years fostering. I would certainly think the Rattlers must expect any future fanbase (2010) would have to be built on the foundation of the existing fanbase.
Is there anything to be done to simplify, or expedite this unfortunate situation?
