Full Version: Awful Game, Awful Product

Well, where do I start? How about before the game.

I used to have 8 premium season tickets, I downgraded to 4 because of all of the losing, and I will likely downgrade to zero next year. If they do not make the playoffs, I will get my free tickets (I assume you do not actually get your money back).

Part of the joy of the Rattler game was the excitement of the fireworks, and explosions. They are gone. The most dead opening intro in Rattler history. I feel sorry for the kids. We can all say, "Remember when it was fun?" We will not be coming to the game early to spend our pre-game dollars.

I also miss the dinner service. It would be nice for $46.00 per ticket. The ushers just allowed anyone to sit in the seats in front of us, so my advice would be to buy $9 tickets and then move.

The announcer was awful. He did not even announce the players correctly. He was announcing the players that were already on the field. Players would randomly exit the tunnel. I assume they will get this figured out.

No boom after touchdowns. Did they score a touchdown? Oh ya, the game. The first time in six years I left early. No spark, no joy, no more love.

Note to Rattlers management - put some excitement back in the game and remember that it is 70% game and 30% atmosphere. The game was a F and the atmosphere was a D for dead.

Yuk, what the hell was that???? I am not even talking about the game!!!

All 6 of us in those so called PREMIUM seats, were bored to death. If the players/coaches/management/owners/etc. can't get the player intro's correct, how the hell is the players suppose to know who to cover or what to do during the game at full speed action?

I can take a loss, and even a bad one, as long as being there is fun. The PA guy took most of the fun out of it. I enjoyed listening to Bill McCabe, head ref, more because I could hear him better. As fans we did our part, we stood up when we should have, and did the normal fan actions without any prompting from this PA guy. I didn't think I would ever say it, but I didn't have much fun. They didn't even announce the commissioner was there, but I have my doubts that the PA guy or even so many new people around even knew who he was. That is a shame he comes to our special night of MNF, and isn't even recognized over the PA system. Even the Commish announcement at the end of the game was messed up.

Rattlers, you have got a real problem and I am in hopes you work around the clock a few days to iron things out. If you don't, your so called loyal fan base will start rooting for the opponents knowing that the only thing to look forward to is that so called guarantee. The only guarantee I see right now, is come downtown to spend lots of money and don't expect to have any fun.

I am sure there were some bright spots, but I really can't think of any except the after party location was nice. There were no perks in it, but was nice.

The new ownership group has taken away most of the perks of being a premium season ticket holder. I have been supportive for raising premium seat prices, but now worried about the value in doing so. The excuse won't fly that this is the first home game for the new employees and ownership group. Our new owner/face of the Rattlers has had 11 years with Orlando and bragged plenty about what was done there. He has brought in all his own people and they have totally messed up what our old Rattlers staff worked so hard to preserve. Looks like they have wrecked all Blake's hard work the past couple of years.

I still love the Rattlers, and I love their product, but it's kinda hard to brag/boast/inspire others to give them a try, with the failure in all aspects of what I saw last night. I for the first time am embarrased, and worried what is going to happen??? I got endless calls last night from family, friends, 2 AFL head coaches, fans from other AFL teams, former Rattlers employees, about their opinions of what they saw, and some plain laughing about the Rattlers.

today is a sad day......but I do still trust a few people who might hold the key to success for the Rattlers......big john

AMEN! I will only add that this is not a problem for ONLY the premium ticket holders. Us blue collar ticket guys (I have 25 season tickets so I can bring various friends and clients) had the same complaints. This is the first time in 11 years of being a rabid Rattlers fan that I was embarrassed to be a Rattlers fans. Brett "The Snake" Bouchy better stop shaving corners to save money and start making Rattlers games fun and exciting or he's going to leave Arizona with more money problems than he had when he left last time.

I agree completely with all that was said. I've only been a season ticket holder for 12 years & added two more this year. We brought 4 new friends. I was embarassed. No fireworks. Screwed up opening announcements. Lousy announcer. Music TOO SOFT! No touchdown boom. Very, very lackluster. As a long time supporter, very disappointing. I'll tell you what, thought, if they make the right changes, I'll be the first to give 'em Kudos!

NOTE: Nothing I said above has ANYTHING to do with whether we win or lose. That's a completely different topic. I hope to see that improve, BUT the atmosphere should be there WIN OR LOSE!

Wildman Phil, I can only speak of what perks we get or USED to get as premium ticket holders. I cannot speak on any other level of tickets but my own, and didn't mean anything by it. The blue collar tickets are just as important or more important as there are way more of those tickets available than the level I buy......thanks.....big john

No offense taken Big John. Just wanted it to be know that this was an across-the-boards situation.
