I would love to see our new coach actually on the field coaching (the defense I would imagine), it was weird last season not seeing the coaches on the field.

This free substitution needs to go, bring back the one substitution per quarter.

I agree with you, I am a traditionalist. But as long as the AFL is really the EFL (Elway Football League) you should expect more changes. In fact, there have been several news articles claiming that Elway want to have Commish Baker let go and himself as Commish; that as the NFL owners gain a greater share of the league they want to turn our beloved AFL into a "feeder" league for the NFL.

And I'm a big Elway fan, but this league does not need to be more like the NFL.

This is beating a dead horse. The rules for 2008 are already set. Maybe you could try bringing this up next August.

Its never to late to talk about the EFL rule changes...besides, when we posted those comments back in August, the new EFL changes had not been made yet....
