I was sitting litterily right next to the tri-cities bench at the game last night. I am the guy with big orange Shocker finger for those of us that were at the game. Somewhere around the 3 or 4 minute mark in the 3rd quater. I was escorted out after having an heated exchange with one of the coaches for the tri cities in which he put his elbow in my stomach and shoved me back. I was also verbally threatend after I attempted to swat at a ball I thought might have been coming into the stands. If anyone saw anything or can back me up in anyway I would appreciate it. I would be especially thrilled if anyone actually witnessed it. Thank you. _________________ 118 row B seats 18 & 19 |

I saw you being escorted out but being diagonally across the field from you I didn't see the incident. Unfortunate that that happened, I'm sure someone saw it. Dare I suggest posting on the Fever message boards? Although there certainly isn't any love lost between the two fan bases, I'm certain the vast majority are good folks who, if they saw anything, would do the right thing and speak up. _________________

Its almost unbelivablr that this would happen, but ot seems like most of the TC team are thugs.
I also realized last night that their security is a little worsxr that their defense |

| Sounds like you had the same kind of experience with TC's security as the fans just down from you in section C. First of all they kicked the GLB's out of the first and second rows for " being too loud and not being in the seats they paid for" Second of all several Shock Fans moved down to the the empty first and second rows seats next to us after the second quarter since no one had purchased those seats. Security immediately made them go back to there seats and threatened to kick them out if they did not return to their assigned seats. But not ten minutes later some TC fans moved down to the exact seats but were never told to leave even after complaints. Way to go TC |

We sat across the arena in Q and the TC fans weren't bad but I was pissed I caught a football and apparently the TC ball club is so hard up for cash they don't let you keep it. I handed it t a small boy next to me who was a TC fan the the line crew came and made him give the ball back. I feel bad for their fan base, the show down there is crap. I also thought it was funny they only need to score 45 to get free chalupas and from what the fan next to me said he hadn't gotten one all season. I would also be pissed if I was the electrical contractor that decide to sponsor the kick returns they donate $1 for every return yard the fever get. They must return the most kicks in the entire AF2 someone got hosed on that deal. _________________

Yea it sounds like they generally didn't want us down there. That just means next year we'll have to bring more of us down. It's a shame that the rivaly would spill over into the crowd management and staff. I get the fans but these other people are suppose to be professional. I say we start up a campain to turn the toyota center orange next year. Living well is the best revenge. _________________ 118 row B seats 18 & 19 |

firstly we dont care if shock fans are there or not
as long as there are seats available, the shock fans mine as well buy them
i was not at the game
here is what someone posted....
After reading the incident, I am siding with what CMS did. I heard some of the incident before the ejection, & there was probable cause for the actions CMS took, due to the fact that the threats being made at not only CMS, but to also other patrons & the Fever Bench personnel. As far as I see it, Kennewick Police should have gotten involved with charges filed for assault & attempted assault. According to what I heard & witnessed, the fan actually swung at the bench personnel, so the bench personnel was protecting themselves. Also the threats made were done verbally & those in the area could hear clearly the threats.
At no time, is a patron supposed to engage with the bench personnel during games in a way that takes attention away from the game.
if i may borrow a line from herman

Isn't it an AF2 rule that you get to keep the ball? _________________

So does that mean the Fever offense is banned (attention) too? _________________ 2006-2009: 66-10, two-time ArenaCup champs.

You must only get to keep it if your wearing blue and gold I guess. They took it from a 5 year old kid after I handed it to him. _________________

Was it during the game, or at halftime or pregame? I saw lots of people getting to keep the balls they caught, and they announced them as AFI game souvenirs. _________________ First Ever Spokane Shock Season Ticket Holder!

Dude I don't know where you are getting your information but tell me how absurd that sounds. Do you think the CMS would have come and "asked" me to leave if I had taken a swing at anyone on the bench ? You really think Spokane fans are that stupid ? I will say I said some pretty nasty things to that coach, but AFTER he made a verbal threat at me for swatting at a ball I thought was coming to me. You think I would have just hung out in the hall way and talked to CMS about what was going on for like 10 minutes if I had swung at a player or coach ? No way ! They would have hauled my a#* off to jail in heartbeat. It would make sense for a story this ignorant and illogical to come from a tri cities fan. If thats how you guys want to spin it that great, but what makes more sense A. I just randomly swung at someone on your bench and just randomly started threating everyone and everything in the arena or B. I was taking back by a threat that was made to me and wasn't going to just take it and I confronted someone on it. Believe what you want. _________________ 118 row B seats 18 & 19 |
